Pamper the little ones in the house with delicious and healthy desserts. April has arrived, one of your little ones' favorite months, since Children's Day is celebrated, the perfect occasion to pamper them with those desserts and sweets that they love so much. But, did you know that if you prepare them yourself you can make them richer and healthier? Yes! Today many products that we have in the kitchen, from dressings, dairy products, breads, cereals, yogurt, ice cream, cookies, chocolates, to drinks such as soft drinks, flavored waters and juices, have a low-calorie version sweetened with sugar substitutes. We believe that these zero calorie sweeteners are only used as alternatives to sweeten coffee or tea, but in reality, they are ideal and safe for the whole family and you can find them both in the products you buy each week in the supermarket, as well as in healthy and delicious dishes that your children will love. Do you want to prove it? We have three recipes for delicious desserts with sugar substitutes, to make this Children's Day an incredible day. RASPBERRY MOUSSE We start with a sugar-free dessert that you can make in less than 15 minutes! 1. Place 350 g of raspberries, 3 tablespoons of lemon juice and 1 teaspoon of stevia in a bowl. Mix everything very well and let it rest for about 10 minutes for the fruit and juice mixture to settle. 2. On the other hand, mix half a liter of low-calorie heavy cream and 1 teaspoon of stevia in the blender until it is stiff. 3. Done, now let's ride! Scoop the raspberry mixture and lemon juice into the bottom of a glass. Then fill the top with the cream and garnish with a few more raspberries. To enjoy! LEMON CREAM PIE 1. To make the cake crust, mix very well in a food processor: half a cup of grated coconut, 1 cup of flour, half a teaspoon of salt, sucralose to taste and a quarter cup of butter at room temperature. Then pour into a mold. 2. Place the juice of 3 lemons and 1 1/2 teaspoon of lemon jelly in a small saucepan. Bring the mixture to a boil, stir until dissolved, and remove from heat to cool for 10 minutes. 3. For the final step, mix in a blender: 2 packages of light cream cheese, 1 cup of low-calorie heavy cream, a pinch of salt and 2 teaspoons of sucralose. Add the mixture of gelatin and lemon juice to the result and pour over the crust layer. 4. Garnish with a little lemon zest and refrigerate uncovered for 2-3 hours. What a treat! STRAWBERRIES WITH CHOCOLATE AND COCONUT We finish our recipe book today with one of the most delicious and easy-to-make desserts. You only need chocolate to melt without sugar and coconut oil. Chocolate can be bitter or white or both to have different flavors. 1. In a small container, place the chocolate to melt and let it melt in a bain-marie. Once it becomes liquid, add 2 teaspoons of coconut oil and mix well. 2. Wash, disinfect and dry strawberries without removing the green stem to make them easier to grip. Place them in the center on a skewer stick and dip them in the chocolate. Decorate with coconut shavings and you will have a delicious dessert without sugar. How about? As you will see, incorporating sugar substitutes or products sweetened with them as part of a balanced and healthy lifestyle is an excellent way to continue enjoying the food that your family loves so much with very few and even zero calories. Look for them the next time you go to the supermarket and celebrate Children's Day with some of our suggestions for you.
