KIN UC Berkeley
Hi! My name is Tushita and I am a sophomore majoring in Nutritional Science: Physiology and Metabolism. I have always taken a deep interest in nutrition and developing healthy habits alongside educating others in this area since high school, and wished that I was introduced to nutrition at an earlier age. I am very grateful to have the opportunity to lead the Cal team as we begin our mission on educating children about the benefits of developing nutritional habits and learning about its foundations.
My name is Diana, and I am a 4th year undergraduate student studying Public Health. I aspire to enter the field of women’s and children’s health. I am immensely passionate about instilling diligent eating habits among our children and youth as the nutritional choices we make have vast impacts on all parts of our lives. I am so grateful to be a part of KIN and am thrilled to see the impact we make this year!
Hello! My name is Sayla Miyoshi, a second year student at UC Berkeley majoring in Nutritional Science B.S. I love Kids In Nutrition because it combines my passion for teaching and my interest in Nutritional Science. I am very excited to start my journey with the club this year and cannot wait to start teaching students about the importance of nutrition!
Hi I'm Raksha! I am a junior at Berkeley originally from Orange County, California. I am interested in the fields of health policy as well as global health education and vaccination promotion. I am currently a student assistant for the CDPH Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Department. I love working with children and hope to get an MPH in maternal and child health. I am super excited to be working with KIN, and cannot wait to see the impact the Berkeley branch is able to make.
