Ainhoa Merchan

Chapter Co-Director

Hello, I'm Ainhoa, one of the Chapter Directors of Kids in Nutrition and a fourth-year student majoring in Health Science and Psychology on the pre-pa track. I am deeply passionate about the intersection of nutrition and skincare, and how they both contribute to overall well-being.

I also have a strong commitment to working with children, as I believe early education is crucial for shaping a healthier future. Outside of my academic and leadership roles, I enjoy exploring new cafes and staying active through fitness.

Piya Hartono

Chapter Co-Director

Hi, I’m Piya, the other Chapter Co-Director for Kids in Nutrition. I'm a fourth-year student at Northeastern University majoring in Health Science with a minor in Nutrition. I joined KIN because I am passionate about creating healthier communities by promoting nutrition education, especially for children. Outside of academics, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family and reading.

Dylan Fei

Finance Director

Hi, I’m Dylan, the Director of Finance for Kids in Nutrition. I’m a second-year undergraduate at Northeastern majoring in biochemistry. My reason for joining KIN was a blend of promoting healthy habits and spreading awareness to the younger generation - being able to both entertain and educate children is so refreshing and rewarding. When I’m not locked in on school (which tbh I’m usually not), you can find me playing volleyball or grabbing a bite to eat around campus with friends.

Aarushi Vatsyayan

Education Director

Hi, I’m Aarushi, the Director of Education for Kids in Nutrition. I’m a third-year behavioral neuroscience major on the pre-medical track at Northeastern University. I have a strong interest in the connection between nutrition and brain health, and I’ve always loved working with children. Both of these passions drew me to KIN, and I love being part of a team that gives back through volunteering. Outside of school, I enjoy baking, exploring Boston, and staying active.

Outside of college and KIN, I am a coach in esports, a software developer, and a YouTuber

Stanley Tun

External Outreach Co-Director

Hi, I’m Stanley, one of the co-Directors of External Outreach. I am a third-year Health Science major with minors in Global Health and Nutrition on the pre-med track at Northeastern University. I believe that eating well is the foundation of being healthy, and I’ve enjoyed working with kids a lot previously, so I sought out an opportunity to continue doing so. Hi, I’m Angela, the Schedule Coordinator for Kids in Nutrition. I am a fourth year majoring in Health science under the pre-PA track. I joined because I have recently found interest in receiving the nutrients your body needs to function while cooking delicious meals. I also feel like it is a great opportunity to get involved with the kids in the community of Boston and educate them on nutrition
