Hi, I’m Bella! I’m a senior at the University of Iowa majoring in Biology with a minor in Lifestyle Medicine, and I’m passionate about becoming a registered dietitian. I care deeply about nutrition education and empowering others to make healthy, sustainable choices. As the Chapter Lead for Kids in Nutrition at Iowa, I’m excited to bring fun, interactive lessons to local elementary schools and inspire kids to build lifelong healthy habits. I’m proud to be part of a team dedicated to creating a healthier future for our community.
Mary Kate Lichty
Outreach Co-Director
Hi! My name is Mary Kate Lichty I am a senior at the University of Iowa with a double major in sociology and ancient civilizations. As someone who plans to go into the educational realm, nutrition plays such a vital role in development, especially in young kids. I love working with kids, and watching them grow and develop into the people they are. I feel the work KIN does is more than important in shaping this development.

Brianna Davenport
Outreach Co-Director
Hi! I’m Brianna Davenport, a senior at the University of Iowa majoring in Ethics and Public Policy. I joined Kids in Nutrition because I care about making sure all kiddos have early education on nutrition for lifelong health and happiness. I am personally interested in family law and housing justice, and I see health equity as a key piece of these broader systems of care. I’m excited to be part of KIN and help kids feel confident and curious about what they eat!
