KIN UC Davis
I love that KIN inspires kids on the importance of living a healthy lifestyle in a fun and exciting way, which can create strong habits and build a foundation for a long, healthy life. In my free time I love traveling, running, hiking, and cooking.
I’m a 3rd-year NPB major (Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior) at UC Davis and I want to go to medical school to become a Physician. At UC Davis I’m in a pre-health sorority called Kappa Gamma Delta and I’m also involved in a research lab looking at the gut-brain axis. I really love animals, especially dogs. I have two puppies, Buttercup and Buddy a labradoodle and a Cocker Spaniel. My dream dog is a Corgi because they are small and energetic like me. I’m working on finishing my EMT certification, so I can work as one for my gap year.
The thing I love the most about Kids in Nutrition is the massive focus on spreading education to the youth of today to ensure that children fully understand the importance of healthy eating habits, starting at a young age. Some things I enjoy doing in my spare time are reading, hiking, singing, and playing guitar.
I am a research director at KIN, Davis. What I like about KIN is how it is trying to empower the young generation by educating them about healthy dietary choices and how it impacts them. In my free time, I like to go hiking and recreating healthy recipes.
I love how KIN engages with children and teaches them habits that can last a lifetime. In my free time I enjoy hiking and playing with my pets.
Outreach and Development
What I like most about KIN is the overall mission to advocate for better nutrition and health for children who do not have access to proper resources. In my free time, I enjoy watching k-dramas and listening to music from all over the world.
